Yeah, seems the forum is going a bit haywire  :-\

Anyway, if you have time check out my two previous replies and to sum it up my opinion on most of the stuff (if not everything in life) is the age old adage - the reality of thins is never so bad (and my addition would be - _or so good_!) as it seems.
For me the probable reality of things is always in the middle of it all, in a kind of balance which in itself is the perfect place to be.

I used to worry about powers that be and the injustice and damage done in front of our noses, but you have to ask yourself at some point after seeing so many efforts to improve for the greater good and peace get foiled or are barely partially successful at best - maybe the things are the way they're supposed to be at this time and place?
Maybe we're not supposed to live in Eden at this time?
Absolutely every thing present in the universe, however minor, happens for a reason and nothing is left to chance?
Not saying that people should just let go of their efforts, on the contrary, just that maybe take a look from a different perspective.

Nothing life-changing, at least as people expect/want is going to happen in my opinion.
It's like you wrote - before enlightement chop wood and bring water, after it - chop wood and bring water. So I maybe the message of it all - don't blink too much, you might miss it  :D
It's all in the mind imo, from inside of you, nothing from outside, nothing material can do that. It may be a slight aid, but I guess we have to be careful not to end with it being our crutch.

Wish you find out all you want :)

It's also probably not healthy to dwell on the quest for enlightenment either. Thinking on karmas etc and what to do about it... it's kinda like keeping up with the spiritual Jones'.

Yes, I keep hearing everything is as it should be. This idea is akin to that adage as above so below. In philosophical discussions you'd be surprised how obfuscating that line is.

Today's masses have been basically created. Most of their thoughts have been given to them. Rather, most everything in their mind has been given to them, by a carefully crafted scientific indoctrination, for a purpose.

Anyway, I sometimes think we plop in 3d to experience. That is have fun. This should seem obvious. Look at things in that perspective.

Exactly!

I completely agree with everything said, at the end of the day we're just here to have fun!

But we're tangled up by so many things, most of which aren't our own desires or beliefs or thoughts anyway lol, how silly is that.

Rather choose to smile than to cry at that fact though  :)

It's so much easier when you just change your view and look at things from a different perspective, I wholeheartedly agree  :)

Well it points to something sinister imo. Many spiritual types say it's all karma. We realize how much poverty is out there, has been out there. I refuse to believe all those people did stuff in other lives to cause their present suffering and lack.
And what about the elite's with their inbreeding? The absolute worse monsters of death...and look where they are, Still. Of course, we don't know how they really end up on the other side.
But I think it's more about a state of mind and belief. If I really believed it was ok to hit bill just for the fun of it... so be it. That is, Karma is what you think it to be. Could be wrong....
This brings in the astrological component. We each get our aspects. They say the good and hard aspects are due to karma.... well, I still kinda think there's some randomness here. You simply plopped in at the wrong time etc! Doh!
This is from my limited perspective of course. But I think the elite's do what they do cause they either believe they've the right, or they figured out the universe doesn't work like that (paybacks).
 I see I've a pm...........
